We run taster sessions for many of our water sport activities, including dinghy sailing. These can be taken singly or in any combination of two or more activities. See our taster sessions for more details and prices.
Private Junior Coaching
Youth courses can be booked for privately. For groups of no more than six. Courses will take place on the sea or lake venues (depending on the weather, and skill levels of the group). These courses are bookable 0930-1400 for three days, Subject to availability. Monday to Sunday.
Sailing or Windsurfing stage 1:
- 2 to 6 people = £123
- 1-to-1 = £184.50
Sailing or Windsurfing Stage 2, 3,4:
- 2 to 6 people = £164
- 1-to-1 = £230.

RYA Dinghy Start Sailing Level 1
Designed for the beginner, by the end of the course you will be safety conscious, have a basic understanding of boat handling techniques and background knowledge. available as a weekend course 0930 – 1630 Saturday and Sunday including a lunch break. Includes log book and syllabus.taught on a maximum of 1:6 instructor to student ratio.

Dinghy Basic Skills RYA Level 2
On completion of this course you will be able to sail in light winds, recover a capsized dinghy and have a basic knowledge of sailing. Students starting this course need to have already mastered the basic skills (covered in Level 1). Available as a weekend course 0930 – 1630 Saturday and Sunday with a lunch break. Dinghy Start Sailing RYA Level 1 & 2 package ( save 10%)
This is the quickest way to learn to sail and saves on individual course costs. It covers rigging, rope work, sailing techniques and manoeuvre’s, launch and recovery, capsize recovery, sailing theory and background and basic meteorology. Includes log book and syllabus.taught on a maximum of 1:6 instructor to student ratio

Dinghy Better Sailing RYA Level 3
This course focuses on improving the skills learned at Level 1 & 2. It will build your confidence and experience, and includes an introduction to using spinnakers. Also available as a weekend course.
