Taster Sessions
This introductory session will take you through the basics of steering and sail controls, developing wind awareness, a 180 degree turn through the wind as well as capsize and recovery techniques.
Sunday mornings on selected dates 0930-1230 from April to September.

RYA Level 1 Start Sailing
Designed for the beginner, by the end of the course you will be safety conscious, have a basic understanding of boat handling techniques and background knowledge. Available as a weekend course 0930 – 1630 run over two Sundays. Includes log book and syllabus. Taught on a maximum of 1:8 instructor to student ratio.

RYA Level 2 Dinghy Basic Skills
Having mastered the start sailing syllabus in level one, you will progress with your sailing ability and learn how to perform manoeuvres such as coming along side, picking up a mooring, and complete a man overboard recovery. This course will also develop the use of the five essentials. Available as a weekend course 0930 – 1630 run over tow Sundays with a lunch break. Includes log book and syllabus, taught on a maximum of 1:8 instructor to student ratio, over two full days.

RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 1 & 2 package (Save 10%)
This is the best way to learn to sail and saves on individual course costs. It covers rigging, rope work, sailing techniques and manoeuvre’s, launch and recovery, capsize recovery, sailing theory and background and basic meteorology. Includes log book and syllabus, taught on a maximum of 1:6 instructor to student ratio. This course runs over 4 days and can be booked by calling and booking by phone.

RYA Level 3 Better Dinghy Sailing
This course focuses on improving the skills learned at Level 1 & 2. It will build your confidence and experience, and includes an introduction to using spinnakers. Also available as a weekend course.

You can complete any dinghy course in a multi hull, courses can be arranged bespoke for you. why not learn the basics in a catamaran? Includes log book and syllabus, taught on a maximum of 1:6 instructor to student ratio, over two full days. Please note this course is weather dependant.
